Flew from Argentina to Chile last week and this view was insane.

Been building while traveling around South America for the last few months.

Different city every few days, random cafes, customer calls wherever the wifi works, lots of things going wrong and figuring them out as I go.

Thought traveling would slow me down.

Weirdly, I think I’m learning faster this way

I interviewed a salesperson at my last AI startup whose demands were:

40% commission from day one
50% after 3 months
warm leads only
no deals under $10k ARR
commission on setup fees + usage
extra commission on enterprise
we provide all the tools
hard call? bring in another rep, lol
At some point I realized:
we weren’t interviewing him.
He was interviewing our margins.
The crazy part?
If he was actually an insane closer… would you hire him?
