@goslingtrain I work for a tech company and I wore jeans and a blouse or sometimes tees most days. Occasionally wore skirts and dresses but only if I wanted to.
Do you ever get so overwhelmed at work that you want to quit so you don’t have to worry about it anymore? But then you remember you don’t have another job lined up and you hold the family health insurance plan? Then a wave of new anxiety washes over you because you’re trapped?
Before today I hadn’t ever seen a conservative video on my @tiktok_us FYP. I’ve never interacted with them and if I clicked one or two to watch, it was for less than 10 seconds. Today #Tiktok gets saved an my FYP is filled with #MAGA. Hm.
@ChrissyACrum Definitely nuts, but I also feel like unless you’re an adoptive parent or a foster parent it’s probably not fair to comment on this. Not saying what they did is right, but it’s a situation that I just haven’t experienced or really understand.
I’m having a very hard time with people saying “during COVID” or like “it’s COVID right now.” We’re experiencing a viral outbreak, we’re in a global pandemic, or we’re social distancing or quarantined or isolating. Maybe this is stupid but I want people to stop “during COVID.”
@itsabsaf I’d argue that you’re undercharging. Customs work is hell. Requires back and forth, labor, and sometimes breeds unhappy v unhappy customers. Don’t listen to ppl saying “if someone will pay...” No: If they won’t pay what you charge you don’t need them.
