@WarMonitor3 Well, actually I’d like to correct you, there’s agreements in place, regarding the rotation of the American troops and the troops that are coming in which is the common procedure
🤯 WOW: Lithuanian basketball rivals unite to chant support for Ukraine.
Fans of Žalgiris and Rytas stunned the arena, pausing their feud to chant Ukrainian slogans in a massive show of solidarity.
Peak EU absurdity.
We are preparing to repair a pipeline Russia itself bombed - to restart the flow of Russian oil we claim to be phasing out - for Hungary, which is blocking €90bn for Ukraine that we’re funding - sans Hungary.
If this is not paid from frozen Russian assets - which it should be, morally and legally -, this move is beyond delusional. We’re subsidising the aggressor instead of making them pay for their own destruction.
That’s clinical-grade masochism - collaboration in our own economic suicide and Ukraine's strangulation.
The Belgian PM #Weber is a typical - Putin verstehen- type Western politician, comfortably hiding behind empty words of Ukraine’s support and looking forward to restart business as usual with #russia. We still facing major political risks within the EU because of this
🇱🇹 Lithuania became the first republic to declare its withdrawal from the USSR and the restoration of its state independence after Soviet occupation on March 11, 1990.
Lithuania regained its independence from Soviet rule on March 11, 1990, after nearly 50 years of captivity.
Despite many challenges, the transformation has been remarkable and continues, emphasizing resilience against threats.
I was born in occupied Lithuania; grew up in poor, 90s Lithuania, with lots of political fragility, where everything needed to be restructured from scratch; matured in an EU & NATO member state, Lithuania, with unprecedented economic growth and opportunities that none of the previous generations had. It’s no wonder we score well on many optimism charts.
The world might be changing, but the inherent resistance to things that just don’t make sense is here to stay. Hopefully, the political acumen that gave us everything that we have today is here to stay too.
And thank you to all Europeans and Americans who helped us in the past.

Seeing too many people absolutely tear into Kinsky. Remember Robert Enke?
Who is arsed if he's a millionaire football? He still has emotions. Many millionaires have had mental health issues.
This one is going to be tough to recover from. I am sending prayers to him.
@dlLambo You are utterly delusional. You are a privileged man who thinks he knows what’s best for the Iranian nation better than the very people who have suffered under this brutal regime.
1950s, Lost in Thought
Hans Silvester's lens catches a young man having a quiet moment in a Dublin pub, cigarette poised, gaze fixed on something far beyond the bar amid the rhythm of porter and smoke. Some stories are told without words. Wonder what was on his mind...
Just so the world doesn’t forget…
On the night between January 12th and January 13th 1991, Moscow sent troops to attack Lithuania, killing 14 Lithuanians and wounding 900
🇱🇹🇷🇺
At 1:30 am on Jan. 13 1991, Soviet troops tried storming key places in Lithuania, incl. the TV Tower in Vilnius.
14 civilians were killed as the tanks drove into crowds & soldiers opened fire against the masses that had come out to protect Lithuania’s newly declared independence
@NorthamScott@SebC__ And Gavin has proven that he is more than capable playing at that level. Perhaps the way the club has handled his development hasn’t been the best, but he has shown his glimpses and I’m sure that he can live up to the expectations. He’s a top pro, he knows what he needs to do.
@SebC__ I disagree. Myself and Gavin played in the same position/ club back in the day and I can assure you that Gavin is one of the most talented players that I ever got to share the pitch with. Gavin has struggled with injuries and the players in front of him are not much use either
@OladayoBabs65@jackf1904 Amorim epitomises everything that United is not, starting from trying to implement a style of play that has us being overrun by every side that we play against to his treatment of young players, its absolute negligence what he’s doing, Jack has emphasised it already
