Air quality in the calf shed was becoming a challenge as the calves grew. Mucked out, bedded and opened the run. Air quality never been better in it and calves thriving on. Second shot of IBR due this weekend #Nextgen#TeamDairy#FutureFarming#AgCredible

Calves moved from the old school to their new paddock in 6 mins this morning. No need to close gates or block gaps. So easy to move them with the mobile milk feeder.
@DarraghScott@steel_bo@TrouwNutr_IRE@TrouwNutr_GB@DarraghScott looks like the could be an osmolality problem in CMR- measure of the concentration of particles in solution I.e lactose. High osmolality levels can damage the gut integrity and risk of abomasal bloat. Try get a CMR close to that of whole milk 300-350 mOm/kg.
Excellent idea @HaroldKingston1! Always good to have clear records in each calf shed for every worker to see when working with calves. Detailing litres of milk/ group of calves, CMR feeding rates g/L and health records #thinkingahead#Covid_19#teamdairy
