@andibartz If you ever use links to link colleagues to a file on a server, spaces can break the links, I think? (At least that’s how it is for us! So we use underscores or dashes for all folders/file names.)

Telling a story through comics is a special art form. Technically, I was editing Georgia, but I learned so much through the way she considers every detail of the dialogue and visuals. A beautiful story, made more beautiful by her mastery and @NatachaBustos’s stunning artwork!

@amalt That said, would not have wanted to watch it in the midst of one of my failed cycles or while grieving a loss, so your trigger warning is very, VERY necessary! Just wanted to say how very seen it made me feel and that maybe it could also be therapeutic to others in that way.

@amalt After going through 3+ years of infertility and 2 years of treatments, my husband and I very much felt the opposite! We’re so used to IVF as an empty plot device that seeing it given such a raw and authentic treatment was refreshing and cathartic and validating.

Loved working on this! Click through for different versions for grades 4-8. It's a challenging poem, but in our #ScholasticAction lesson, I think we managed to make it accessible for striving middle school readers by focusing on her overall message (and fluency/expression!).
