The Grand External Propaganda 大外宣 machine has begun, and mysterious forces have engaged French director Benoît Lelièvre to make a documentary film called "Spring, Seeing Hong Kong Again" (hereinafter referred to as "SSHKA") to promote Hong Kong and China's image abroad.
The cover of the book is illustrated by renowned director Ann Hui.
You can get the book at the usual decent bookstores in town. You can also buy it online at @hoccgoomusic Denise Ho's Online store.

Publisher Mountzero reports Magaret Ng's essay collection 'Hong Kong in the Rain' was requested to be removed from Taikwun BOOKED art book fair. No official reason was given, but questions were raised about essays being an art form. The book compiles Ng's writings since 2019.
@white_lenka@bionicleap77 IBA said nothing of substance at the press conference and couldn’t produce an actual report that supports their claims. If Yu-ting is a guy, she wouldn’t have lost in the Tokyo Olympics during the round of 16.
Don’t call yourself a journalist. Hope you get sued for defamation.
@rhokilpatrick It is not the first time he is bashing Hong Kong.
He believes he is superior because he teaches English in Hong Kong (shocker: he can’t even spell ‘disproportionate’).
I think he teaches part-time, because he spends all day picking quarrels online. 😂

The medal ceremony was so cute and wholesome. The Taiwanese boxer, Chen Nien-chin, is so goofy getting everyone hyped up. The hugs in the end - so precious. 🥹 All these women are WINNERS. 🇩🇿🇨🇳🇹🇭🇹🇼
@SjoenErpel @Wu_Pei_Yi@Olympics You need to get help. I peeped at your profile and you spent hours today talking nonsense about two imaginary dicks you have never seen. Lin is a woman, end of story. Stop projecting your insecurities on them. Your lack of logical thinking skills is embarrassing. Get a hobby.

Sharing these photos in a local car enthusiast group, he wrote, "This may be my last year coming out. Guess you already know why. Stay strong, everyone. Never grow numb to it.”
The white Porsche with the US8964 license plate -a familiar sight near Victoria Park on June 4th- drew police scrutiny again this year. The driver said he was tailed from Kowloon today before being pulled over, and insinuated he fears this could be his last June 4th ride.
The car with the plate “US 8964” was pulled over while driving around Victoria Park and towed away by the police once again. The driver is safe, but laughed at the ordeal and posted this photo to a car enthusiast group on Facebook, saying “好耐無見大家” (“It’s been a while”).
Hunter Bookstore had police stationed outside today, checking IDs of customers entering. Why? Probably because the day after tomorrow is June 4th. The store is run by former district councillor Leticia Wong, and is often "frequented" by men in uniform over vexatious complaints.
@FunayamaMutsumi You're welcome. :)
You can read the book and see the non-colour-corrected photo here. The page on the Chinese New Year Fair is all the way at the bottom:

False. This was not part of the Chinese New Year celebration. It was part of the "KGV Silver Jubilee Procession", and took place on May 5, 1935.

@tomgrundy Add the "2023 FIA World Rallycross Championship" to the list. It's so underwhelming that it's completely understandable you forgot about it altogether.
