I know very little about Twitter but am trying to work it out along with Facebook, Instagram, SC; mother, hospital nurse, orchestral player, social network fan.
Watch this (whole thread), then explain why you’re OK with a man beating a woman in public for your entertainment. This isn’t sport. From the bullying cheat in red all the way up to the organisers who allowed this to happen, this is men revelling in their power over women.
@jk_rowling I could not agree more @jk_rowling. I am so pleased that you are speaking out and defending women’s rights which are being eroded by this shocking injustice; we need your brave penmanship and voice to defend us.
A young female boxer has just had everything she’s worked and trained for snatched away because you allowed a male to get in the ring with her. You’re a disgrace, your ‘safeguarding’ is a joke and #Paris24 will be forever tarnished by the brutal injustice done to Carini.
It was a pleasure taking part in this excellent film and we all enjoyed to the maximum. It is based on a poignantly moving story of a South Wales collective from the valleys who rear a young horse, Dream Alliance, with masses of racing potential and achieve their dream of winning the Welsh National against all the odds.
We had a wonderful day at the Benedetti workshop a few weeks ago, making music and learning so much from master musicians whose expertise and teaching skills are awesome and all in a beautiful and timeless setting to boot. 🎶🎻🎶
What a night! It was such an amazing experience playing Carmina Burana at St. David’s hall last night with the RSO and the Cardiff Ardwyn singers after weeks of preparation and rehearsals; a brilliant, emotional and unforgettable night. Unluckily I’ve had to trim this clip to fit in with Twitter’s requirements. 🎶🎶🎶
It was a lovely experience playing with the RSO in beautiful Llandaff cathedral last week; I hope the audience enjoyed it as much as we did! I wasn’t familiar with Vaughan Williams’s Job before but it is a dramatic, awesome, inspirational piece and well worth a listen. The snippet below is taken from VW’s English Folk Song suite and it was so lovely to see you there @RachelJMorton. Xx
