Nurul Izzah Anwar will take a temporary break from her position as PKR deputy president after the party’s congress next week, following the rejection of her request to resign from the post.

Vice-president Saifuddin Nasution will temporarily assume her duties.

The move comes two months after Amirudin Shari replaced her as co-election director. He will now fully take over as the party’s election director.

Your core base unfortunately does not feel sorry for you. DAP with 40 seats should have called Anwar out much earlier. Pressure should have intensified after the many scandals, from Azam Baki, Farhash, Shamsul Iskandar and the Rafizi fallout.

Loke's indecisiveness now leaves DAP with nowhere to go. BN and PN don't need them and won't work with them. PKR today is run by the likes of Azman Abidin, Amiruddin, and Ramanan. These clowns destroyed in 3 years, what DAP built over 30 years.

Going solo in the next GE may help you retain 20-25 seats. It may not be much, but the alternative is complete annihilation.
