🚨 People are bracing for a BLACK MONDAY!
$1.9 TRILLION wiped from U.S. tech stocks, and the selling hasn't stopped!
Wall Street is closed, but tokenized AI stocks are already trading in the RED this weekend.
Is this a warning of what's coming Monday, or is the market overreacting?

🚨SONIC CEO SAYS HE HOLDS ZERO TOKENS!
@MattVisser of @SonicLabs on Crypto Insider with @cryptomanran says he works for the foundation. His job is to make the company successful. A token bag creates a conflict.
His targets are revenue. Durable business, not a price pump.

The man everyone warned NOT to take over Sonic just revealed his comeback plan.
Sonic Lab's new CEO, @MattVisser, inherited a project many had written off. Now he's rebuilding it from the ground up.
New strategy. Real adoption. And a VERY different approach to the sonic-3:native token.
Is this crypto's BIGGEST comeback story?
New Crypto Insider interview OUT NOW: https://t.co/yGsr709nm1
Awesome to sit down with @inversion_cap founder @santiagoroel at @token2049 last week.
This one meant a lot. Santi was my first ever guest on Risk Takers, and I was SO nervous for that first interview. Seeing how much I've grown since then nicely closed the circle on my first year interviewing some of the biggest names in crypto and finance.
"It was almost irresponsible not to think about, wow, there's vastly more opportunity here relative to crypto."
What we spoke about:
- is the four-year crypto cycle still a thing
- which crypto protocols actually make money
- can OpenAI and Anthropic fund the AI build-out
- why big tech is happy to borrow at 9-10% to build AI
- where to invest in AI without picking the winning model
- why @inversion_cap swapped crypto for AI
- the businesses AI agents put under pressure first
THE CYCLE: "I think this idea of like a four-year cycle or thinking about in cycles is largely irrelevant... every year of the last couple of years has started off feeling like it's going to end. Like p(doom) has been high at the beginning of the year. And then somehow the market's up like 15, 20% and we're hitting all time high."
WHERE CRYPTO MAKES MONEY: "There's only a handful of crypto companies that have really outperformed, you know, Hyperliquid, https://t.co/ZTNi3IX5is, some of the other Hyperliquid type like perpetual exchanges... And then there's a whole segment that is just not interesting... Yes, I invested early on, so I'm talking my book a little bit."
AI DEBT: "If someone is willing to raise and borrow money at 9%, 10%, they're doing the math on the back and saying, there's a great return to that investment. And that just, in my opinion, tells you the spread that these guys are capturing with these products."
POWER AND MEMORY: "In the stack of AI that I want to be invested in, feel more comfortable, it's in power and it's in memory... Most of the memory guys are totally sold out for the next couple of years... It's almost like a drug trade. It's like I know a guy that knows a guy that can get me the chips."
THE BIG WAVE: "There's a trillion dollars of AI CapEx that is going to be deployed in the next couple years. Every year... Do you want to be riding a small wave or do you want to be riding a big wave?"
BANKS AND INSURERS: "Businesses that you definitely don't want to be investing behind, which is businesses that have made money on basically banking on less intelligence. And a lot of that is just banks, for instance, financial institutions, insurance companies... If your flight gets delayed, you're owed $600 by regulation... Now it's worth your time because you can deploy an agent for very little cost."

For more than 3 years, I’ve been studying how decentralised protocols are actually governed, but this research has taken me FAR beyond blockchain.
I’m tracing the recurring problems of power, trust and coordination from ancient civilisations and their earliest record-keeping systems to the cypherpunk movement, early cyberspace communities and today’s protocols; examining where crypto’s claims of decentralisation diverge from reality.
Soon, I’ll begin sharing what I found.
Some conclusions may surprise you. Others may make certain people uncomfortable.
All of this is necessary dialogue, and I can't wait to share.
More soon.
I’m excited to be recognised as part of the CWC speaking index for women in crypto, and even more excited for the opportunities I will have to speak about my research.
There are some incredible founders in this index too, very proud to be featured alongside them!
Crypto is the greatest humanitarian mission of our lifetime.
Social trading apps cover one small part of the surface area in the adoption arms race; and truth be told, I'm yet to come across one that isn't purely designed for extraction.
Builders; please don't get distracted from the cypherpunk mission that brought you here.
There's no shortage of humanitarian crises that blockchain could solve. Stay inspired, keep building.
