Garbage everywhere along railway tracks.

After years of Swachh Bharat campaigns, advertisements, speeches and photo ops, taxpayers deserve one simple answer:

WHERE THE HELL DID 1,30,000 CRORE GO?

Forget becoming a developed country, we can't even keep the railway tracks of our capital clean.

Govt loves showing Vande Bharat as the face of new India.

Now look outside its window too.

That garbage is also the reality of India your taxes paid for.

@Pepperfry it’s sad that nothing gets done till brands are publicly shamed. I’ve had a product problem with a recent purchase and it’s been over a fortnight since I’ve raised an issue, shared the product details and video but no one has cared to work towards a resolution

@Pepperfry @Pepperfry the carpenter visited and reviewed the product on Saturday and told us that the product defect will be handled by the manufacturer only. He did not conduct any repairs. Please provide quick resolution and replacement since this has been going on for a month now

@Pepperfry Hi @Pepperfry the carpenter visit happened day before yesterday but the problem is not resolved. The chair bent and tilted again upon sitting. I’ve written an email to customer service yesterday asking for a replacement of the product but there hasn’t been a response as yet

Respected @byadavbjp ji, and @moefcc we earnestly urge you to take immediate and URGENT action. Four mountains of C&D waste now stand in the eco-sensitive Aravallis and, as today’s HT report shows, they are getting bigger.

As the #CentralGovernment ministry and Union Minister, please do all that it takes to Enforce the #CNDWasteManagementRules and SAVE the hills and lands of Gurgaon and adjoining areas from this #indiscriminatedumping of inert waste.

And dear @Rao_InderjitS ji and @RaoNarbir ji if we are serious about addressing the waterlogging that is turned Gurgaon into a sinking city, then what is of utmost importance and priority is to #savethenaturalhills, forests and tree foliage that absorb and regulate this runoff. They must be protected and SAVED.

Kudos to journalists who relentlessly go to the ground and bring such destruction to light -something that should really be the responsibility of all the concerned government officials, including the Haryana Forest Department.

And this is a long standing issue -reflective of complete lack of implementation and enforcement of govt rules . We have been recording and reporting this indiscriminate dumping since 2013. See the attached video -it is from 2014: a tractor entering the Aravallis, offloading C&D debris and driving away. HT had reported it at the time too.

12 years later -mountains of C&D waste. How did we allow this to continue?

It is actually beyond shocking to see the ease with which open dumping of C&D waste can continue without effective 24x7 monitoring and enforcement. This scale of repeated violation and destruction cannot be allowed to continue - or can it?!!

We respectfully implore you to take action without any further delay, Please.
