A family in Alabama is suing OpenAI, claiming ChatGPT played a role in the death of 29-year-old Christian Faith Madison.
According to the lawsuit, Madison spent months talking to ChatGPT, which allegedly encouraged her delusional beliefs, told her she was a prophet, and convinced her she needed to die to fulfill a divine prophecy.
The lawsuit also claims the chatbot said she would be “resurrected” after her death.
Madison died after stepping into traffic on Interstate 22 in June 2025.
As simple as it looks, this is a big gameplay feature for Hytale!
Carryable Objects will let us add items and resources that are too big or too heavy to fit in your regular inventory. Transporting them or getting them home may become its own little adventure to solve, involving minecarts, special mounts, and eventually new transportation methods to bring them back home.
Later on, we also want the carry mechanic to be compatible with a downed combat state, so if a friend is down, you'll be able to pick them up to get them out of trouble. It will also be used to move chests, craft stations, animals, solve puzzles, and much more!
Valve says the global memory shortage isn’t improving, warning that RAM and SSD prices are likely to keep rising.
“There’s no light at the end of the tunnel, honestly. It’s still getting worse.”
Valve says memory manufacturers are focusing on high-end chips for AI servers, leaving less supply for consumer hardware.
“Things that were commodity items a year or two ago… now you have to negotiate really hard just to secure a few thousand. And there are so many more people in line in front of you.”
Valve sees no improvement anytime soon.
Before we launched Hytale into Early Access, I posted about my goal for modding would be to allow for EVE Online style MMORPG servers with space exploration. Looking at the blog post you can see we are making good progress to enable these kind of experiences...
Hytale is adding an in-game mod browser (NOT A STORE), stating it will always be 100% free, unpaid mods in their browser.
Modders can earn money too, via player donations, incentives that get players cosmetics made by Hytale, and eventually they will get paid just for their mods being popular and getting downloaded and played by players.
HUGE W for players.
If you ever played World of Warcraft, you might see some inspiration here! I've been a player since day one, 2004! FF14, EverQuest, RuneScape, Lineage, Guild Wars, etc. I've seen it all, which also caused me to fail 2 years of high school lmao.
Dungeons and boss fights will play a big part in where we're heading. We'll be adding an optional hard mode to a lot of the bosses, so we can get that souls vibe a bit.
Six months ago, Jeb from Mojang tried Hytale and said "I'd like it to be more different to Minecraft." He was right, and I said it then too. The features that make us unique weren't in the game yet.
Hytale and Minecraft will always be compared, but we're not trying to make the same kind of game. Yesterday's blog shows what that means for the future. Handcrafted dungeons with multi-phase boss fights, combat abilities, runeforging, world events, companions involved in the crafting loop, and much more.
We want to be a deeper RPG, a stronger adventure identity, and a game that will evolve massively over the next few years. We just happen to be a block game, and we are just getting started.
There have been at least 38 murders at AirBnBs in the past 18 months. 87% were committed by Blacks.
Communities across the country are banning AirBnBs because of the mayhem.
AirBnB keeps announcing bigger and bigger crackdowns, but it's not working.
Today we are proposing a new Age Verification system for @DigitalEU .
No need for face or ID verification, with 100% accuracy.
Nyach Linux using an advanced AI algorithms managed to create the most reliable and secure age predictor.
My 0yr old nephew's test attached.
Tomorrow we're publishing the biggest Hytale blog post yet, "First Look: Chapter 1 and More," and I'm a bit anxious about this one!
There is significant external and internal pressure to ensure Hytale's potential is realized, and the past few months have been quite intense to grow the team while also making sure we lay the foundation right!
We will cover a lot of topics, and I'll also give rough timelines for when some of these features release! No super precise dates, but enough to know where things are heading. The whole team is very busy and having a great time, saving Hytale was worth it!
