@elonmusk between my brother and I we have bought 8 Teslas, love all of them and first 7 were all new from Tesla. Latest purchase was first Pre-Owned from https://t.co/y2Q1bvjF2E and vehicle estimated range was off by 40 miles from actual range (330 vs. 290). Delivery/sales team unwilling to apply deposit/transport fee to another X. Even Grok suggests a price reduction on vehicle or refund.
More deets on range:
* I called prior to ordering and the rep confirmed range is tested on all pre-owned and this one had more than the other three similar X's I was looking at
* I mentioned to delivery manager any evidence of range test or battery health would be fine with me but they said they can't provide anything. No app-based battery test, no touch screen test, no service mode test, etc.
Non-range related:
* Phone rep said in-service date was Oct 2023 but was actually Oct 2022 (but late 2023 would have had HW4, it has HW3)
* Took three weeks to deliver instead of 1-2 (🤷)
* Vehicle super dusty and had to be washed on pickup (also 🤷)
* I tried calling customer service number but went to VM (probably very busy today hitting EOY goals!)
As always vehicle and buying experience from Tesla is far superior than other brands. Tesla fixed large scratches and curb rash which is a huge plus from buying used from Tesla vs. private party and Tesla ads pre-owned warranty extension.
Each time I have bought a car I have tested other electric vehicles (Rivian, GMC Sierra, Lucid) and always come back to Tesla, but these material differences seem pretty bad.
@SonosSupport hello, my Sonos sub had a solid white light but wasn't playing sound. I clicked the button and it turned solid orange. The instructions are to contact support. The temperature doesn't seem to be a factor
