I was tired of copy-pasting PR review comments into Cursor so I wrote Github MCP tools for getting PR review comments, making review comments and resolving review threads. This is awesome.
Switched 100% from Cursor to Darting last week. Now it's July 1st, we're outpacing the best week of June in the first day.
Darting >> Cursor.
Looking for beta testers.
Intelligence isn't about getting the right answer, it's asking the right question.
My system prompt forces the agent to ask:
"Are we even solving the right problem? or just the symptom of another problem?"
@atiya_ag Unless you have a rule in your system prompt that says to review the names and not trust existing interfaces most harnesses have explicitly said “only make surgical changes” which means shit piles up.
@atiya_ag I read this as if you are trying to harden your own app and it starts doing too much cyber security thinking it will step down. Not normal app development
So, I built a new tool that improved my shipping speed 5x over cursor.
I'm shipping so fast using so many sandbox VMs that things literally get stuck just endlessly running CI.
The speed unlock is surfacing a new class of problems.
Memory is hard.
Chatgpt stores memories about our conversations. I feel like this is more of a negative than positive. It's not answering freely, it's polluted by previous context that's no longer relevant.
@stevenfiorillo She can say whatever. The real problem is people keep electing her. You never see retards like this out of politics, they end up around forever. Until they’re 90. Spouting bullshit nonsense that makes rational people lose faith in humanity. How is that so?
@aienginerd@hnshah The problem to solve next is how to take all this data and find the right bits to get into context when needed. I think it’s something like a dynamic hierarchical indexes allow agents to pull in anything from synthesized lessons to actual chats as needed.
@aienginerd This actual good advice. Also, cursor stores everything in a database you can similarly access. I’ve been running automations called “learning extractions” against mine for 6 months. No wonder Elon bought cursor. @hnshah
