@kssreeram@narutokiamma@svembu Three factors - reserve currency status attracts high salaried talent, large domestic market allows scaling, geopolitical strength from no threatening neighbor and natural resource self sufficiency - this makes risk taking easy for US entrepreneur which is key for a new category
Sanatana Dharma is a way of life just as any other religious belief is. If TVK MLA #VSMustafa wants to eradicate a belief of majorities, will he accept, if I, being a Muslim myself say Islam and its absurd practices should be eradicated?? Will CM of TN accept if a word is spoken against Christianity?
Will Mr. @Udhaystalin ever ask his mother, aunts, and all the women in his family, including his ex ministers who flaunt kumkums, to stop going to temples and stop claiming to be hindus if its so allergic to him?? Will LoP have the spine to speak a word about any minority communities??
Expect H'ble CM @actorvijay@TVKVijayHQ to ask his newly elected bunch of over enthu MLAs to hold their tongues. Sanatana Dharma and Hinduism respects every religion equally and believes in equality. Do not bring a religious divide as soon as you come to power. Understandable that you are at the mercy of DMK. Yet expect a better governance from you.

Many DMK supporters are continuing to reply Sanathana Dharma refers only to casteism.
I've already pointed out how Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has said Sanathana Dharma and Hinduism are one and the same.
If Udayanidhi wants to try his luck, let him start talking against Sanathana Dharma in public, instead of only within assembly.
BJP would be waiting for such opportunities to go to court. Then let's see what court decides.
It is perfectly fine to be against casteism. But using the term Sanathana Dharma for the same is derogatory.
It is nothing but abuse of Hinduism.
Since I did not see any need, I've not shared this information before.
My marriage is an intercaste marriage.
Casteism has nothing to do with Sanathana Dharma.
Many are against casteism. In our family, we've proved by example.
Attacking Sanathana Dharma is not attacking casteism. It is abusing Hinduism.
@md_deepesh Once a western diplomat asked me - who among the two - Dravidians and evangelicals in Tamil Nadu are more committed to India as a pre independence entity - I said Dravidians still draw inspiration from an ancient history that predates Christianity but evangelicals don’t
In his first speech as Tamil Nadu chief minister, Vijay said that he grew up in poverty, and that he even knows what hunger is. It's bullshit because he was my classmate in the third standard in Loyola School.
His father was a filmmaker who set up his son for a career in films.
It is possible that like most filmmakers his father may have had periods of financial strife but that's not the same as Tamil-grade poverty. A lot of affluent boys confuse being broke with poverty. Two very different things.
You are celebrating 'Joseph Vijay' in TN, but have you ever looked at Nagaland, Mizoram, or Meghalaya? Not a single Hindu CM in their entire history. Why is this 'diversity' benchmark only applicable to Hindu-majority states? True secularism shouldn't have a glass ceiling for Hindus in states where they are the minority.
I went to thank the people. Instead, I found myself consoling them!
Having faced many ups and downs since childhood, this electoral defeat has not shaken me personally.
But the tears in the eyes of so many people today truly moved me.
My heartfelt gratitude to the 56,462 people who voted for us, and to all the good-hearted people who will stand with us in the years to come.
Let us build a strong India and a prosperous Tenkasi!
Vande Mataram!
@AnanthAyyasamy@TVMohandasPai Don’t give up. We are with you. Your daughter will eventually thank you , but it may take a long time. If you give up no one will take the challenge on and these corrupt and anti Indian monsters will destroy everything of value
Four years ago, I sat down with my 12-year-old daughter in the US and told her I was walking away from a successful tech career and real estate business to return to India for public service and politics.
At that age, she didn’t realize “public life” would slowly take her Appa away from her for months… and years.
But I came with conviction.
So for the last 4 years, we gave everything we had — for example -In villages like Subramaniapuram and Vellanaikottai, we built bus shelters, restored a 100-acre pond, removed seemai karuvelam, strengthened bunds, planted thousands of palm saplings, supported students’ education, organized medical camps and career workshops, built community sheds, encouraged youth and sports activities, and contributed to annadanams.
It cost several ten lakhs of hard-earned money - just for this village alone. But more than money, it cost time… family moments… and precious years watching my daughter grow up from far away.
Then elections came.
And the same village chose a candidate who had barely visited them in five years.
In the end, one week of election-time money defeated four years of sincere service.
Yesterday, my daughter quietly asked me over video call:
“Appa… can you now tell me what exactly politics is?”
For the first time in my life, I did not have an answer for my chellaponnu.
