Auto-ethnographic accounts of sexual harassment by faculty are a crucial tool for early career academics to break the silence about their experiences. There is a long tradition of victim-survivors writing de-identified accounts of such experiences in academia.
We stand in solidarity with the authors of Chapter 12 of the book 'Sexual Misconduct in Academia'.
The book has been withdrawn from publication by @routledgebooks after complaints were made about the chapter. [paywall, sorry]:

The past few days have been overwhelming. I continue to support @ghaywan’s excellent work, now with Made in Heaven and earlier with Geeli Pucchi on Netflix. But this needs to be said.
This was an inspiring panel to be in. Perhaps also an imp reminder of what friendship networks can & cannot achieve in both scholarship & activism
