Need help from React Native / Android devs: How do you reliably enforce ClipDescription.EXTRA_IS_SENSITIVE in Expo to stop OEM keyboards from storing passwords in clipboard history?

Details in the screenshot and issue:

@peeknext notepad++ ? will try that too

Any better code editor recommendations?

VS Code takes around 2 GB of RAM, so I'm thinking of trying Helix or Neovim.

What do you guys use or recommend?

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

@sam23qr I tested it on android devices only via expo

The current beta version focuses on testing the core offline features: biometrics integration, view/hide toggles, copying with secure clipboard clearing, editing, and deleting.

I'd love if you try it out and let me know :)

SafeVault is now live in public Beta (v1.0.0-beta)
If you'd like to test it out: https://t.co/84q3minUTg

Any feedback, bug reports, or UI tweaks are welcome.

My first mobile project and my first compiled Android APK release.

I used to store my passwords in plain text, so I decided to make a fully offline Android password manager utility using React Native and Expo.

There are plenty of tools out there, but as a developer, there’s a different feeling when you can build it your own way.

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

@corhoonx Thanks mate. You could try it out and let me know :)

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

@Sulman_cell For restoring on new mobile exporting seems a good feature I will try to add that :)

@Sulman_cell Yeah it will be open source so anyone modify according to them and use it. My main goal was to learn something new from this project

I was also thinking to add 4-file rotational backup system instead of exporting json file manually

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

@Sulman_cell Im looking into a hybrid approach right now encrypting the passwords manually to store in a local SQLite DB while keeping the main cryptographic key locked inside expo-secure-store and for backups planning to let the user export an encrypted JSON file

Built a basic UI for my Expense Tracker backend project using Streamlit

Going to use this project for learning more advanced backend concepts

Kinda crazy how easily you can build UI with Python🤯

Wrote my first integration/API tests

Learned pytest, set up async testing, and completed the authentication test suite

Tested registration, duplicate users, login, invalid credentials, JWT-protected routes, and unauthorized access

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

Learned about Alembic database migrations

I went down the Python rabbit hole.

From the basics to decorators, OOP, descriptors and all the weird stuff Python hides underneath, practice questions, tests and everything at one single place!

Learning JWT authentication.
- Password hashing with Argon2 - Access tokens & protected routes

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

Refactored the older project
- Migrated from mysql-connector to async SQLAlchemy
- Refactored ~1,100 lines from a single https://t.co/29hPCOfekC into separate modules

@premwomp idk man.. going fine ig🤧

[Kunal @Kunal_Sambyal]

Learning postgresSql and sqlalchemy.

Started learning FastAPI and built my first REST API.
Learned how to create CRUD endpoints, validate data with Pydantic, handle errors/status codes, and work with nested models.
