We've uncovered a large-scale abuse of our referral & airdrop system.
A malicious actor created thousands of fake sub-wallets that all used a single inviter address. These wallets performed repeated check-ins to funnel referral rewards (25%) and airdrops back to the main wallet — gaining tens of millions of $KUNKUN unfairly.

🛡️ KUNKUN Security Update – Airdrop Exploit & Recovery Plan 🐔

Dear KUNKUN community,
In the past 6 hours, we identified an exploit in our airdrop system — some users used automated scripts to abuse logic exposed in our GitHub code, claiming massive amounts of $KUNKUN in a short time.
These tokens were immediately moved on-chain.
Our contract is fully decentralized and renounced, so we have no authority to reverse or freeze anything on-chain — that’s the nature of blockchain: transparent and unstoppable.

🚧 What Happened?
Our GitHub repo exposed a logic flaw in the airdrop mechanism
A few malicious users built scripts to bypass restrictions
They mass-claimed airdrops and moved tokens directly on-chain
The contract cannot freeze those funds, by design
We discovered this quickly, blocked the exploit, and shut down the affected endpoints.

✅ What We’re Doing
Fortunately, $KUNKUN hasn’t launched liquidity or been listed on any exchanges, which gives us full freedom to respond.
We are taking the following actions:
Deploying a new smart contract
Cleaning all distribution records (airdrops, check-ins, referrals, mining)
Removing exploited addresses
Restoring all balances for legitimate users who joined the project normally
Everyone who joined fairly — whether by mining, referring, or checking in — will retain their tokens in the new contract.

🤔 Isn’t This Against Blockchain Principles?
We understand the concern.But actually — this is not unprecedented.
In 2016, Ethereum faced the DAO exploit. The community voted to roll back the chain.
That’s how Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) were born.
Blockchain is not about ignoring problems.
It’s about solving them together.
Decentralization means we choose what to protect, and how to rebuild.
