(via @HeraldZimbabwe): A fugitive behind the US$2,7 million ZB Bank heist – arguably the most brazen cash-in-transit robbery in Zimbabwe’s history - has been arrested.

The armed gang ambushed the vehicle transporting the cash near Chinhoyi.
The vehicle was diverted and the loot transferred to a getaway vehicle.
In all, US$2,775 million + ZW$43 090 was stolen and later shared among the gang members.

Zimbabwe has already refused a similar US deal, citing sovereignty concerns, particularly over demands for data and biological sample sharing.
