@CoachDavidKlein Yes. I live in Hinsdale, IL, which participated in the 2024 LLWS. The local travel team does not support boys baseball above 13U. The HS is large and so there are enough kids but the performance is substandard given the LL pedigree with the issue coming in that pre-teen gap.
@KobeissiLetter The Fed provides liquidity to the world and the global economy is in worse shape than the US economy is. Inflation is very low in Europe and China's soft, so the Fed needs to keep pace, partially to avoid an even larger USD rally than we've already had.
@MikeLucasTV@PardonMyTake Thank you, Baker, for even that shred of self-reflection. Yes, you should've sat out. Browns coaching staff and front office also culpable.
@MWatkins924 7 hour practices on all weekend days and holidays; coaches who criticize every minor mistake; an overall culture than emphasizes minimizing risk over reward; no pitch counts. I could go on. The ones who make it here from there are not the elite of the elite, they are survivors.
@HalToHell Watching an average Test-level cricket player attempt to catch is painful for any baseball fan. The route to the ball is generally poor; feet aren't positioned correctly; the ball isn't watched into the hands; and then it is topped off with poor form on the throw to the w'keeper
@CapFriendly Yeah, must be a coincidence. Same for Hertl and Pietrangelo this season, too. No chance VGK is taking an NBA approach to LTIR and player rest for the playoffs.
@Sportsnet What a heel turn from being a well-respected national Sportscenter anchor to calling Bruins game from such a warped perspective that he was unlistenable for a neutral. A man of his times.
@PierreVLeBrun Classic case of the GM pinning the blame on the coach for his own failures and uncontrollables (injuries/luck). Just wants a coach bump for a playoff push to take the pressure off him into the offseason.
@TimmerFidelity There aren't m(any) out there that can come up with a view this nuanced. It's a struggle to deal with this as an investor but the probability that this can occur is probably higher than the market anticipates. It does jive with what I'm seeing on a sector basis.
