“I’m going to southern India, where Sadhguru, a Yogi, his ashram is,” he said. “I’m going to maybe spend like two weeks there, or something like that. They have such an interesting spiritual culture there, up and down the country. It's incredible.”

I’ve always loved writing. Sometimes, it’s the easiest way to say what you feel. This year, Modi ji, I wanted your birthday tribute to come straight from the heart. ❤️
I’ve seen changes in Indian sport I could barely have imagined growing up. The support, the opportunities and the belief have meant so much. Across fields, a generation of Indians has learnt to take on the world’s biggest names and believe we belong alongside them.
But it’s the personal moments I treasure. Sharing an ice cream with you. Watching you laugh with my then coach, Park, and knowing he would remember it for the rest of his life. You have an innate ability to make people feel warm, welcome and loved.
I remember your hour-long conversation with my husband, Datta, about identifying unique citizen records, or “golden records” at 10:30 in the night. Back in the car, he couldn’t stop wondering how the Prime Minister knew so much about such a deeply technical subject. Your curiosity stayed with him as much as your warmth.
Happy birthday to our beloved Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi ji.
With a daughter’s affection, I wish you good health, happiness and many more years of service to our great country and its people. Thank you for always making us feel that our dreams matter to you 🙏❤️

The problem with Atheism and rationalism as a political ideology is that they pick on the easy targets — tolerant religions.
There's a reason Liver Doc went out of his way to bash Sri Sri and Deepinder Goyal but won't say anything for what was said in KL a few weeks ago.

An update from Maa Gambhiri (Coordinator of Isha Sacred Walks) about the current situation after the flash floods at the Nepal-Tibet border, and what Isha Volunteers are doing to offer every possible assistance.
India alone is in the Quad (with US) and BRICS (with China) both, is friends with Israel/Iran/UAE all three, and very good friends with Russia and EU both. India has a powerful army and the world's fastest growing major economy. There is more to do, yes. Yet, I am astonished at the everyday doomsday cynicism being doled out in Indian discourse.
Consider some factoids from history. Somnath was desecrated a thousand years ago. Yet today, Somnath is a beautiful temple again where ten million devotees worship every year. Mughal rule was established five centuries ago. Yet today, the Indian PM - the leader of the world's largest polity - speaks every year from the Red Fort on 15th August.
A century ago, India was still under British colonial rule. Half a century ago, democracy was suspended. Even 30-35 years ago, the position was dicy. USSR was no more. Japan's economic rise had US courting China. Pakistan was fanning Kashmir terror. Naxal and Khalistan/NE separatism were worse. Caste/language fissures were stronger. Two PMs (including one former PM) had been brutally killed.
Yet here we are. Stronger than ever before, and only getting stronger. The Indian experiment in self-rule is the grandest the world has ever seen, and gets more successful with every passing year. The best, of course, is yet to come. India is on its way to becoming the world's largest economy (again), perhaps around the middle of the century with per capita ranking continuing to improve beyond that.
Failure, they say, is an orphan while success has many fathers. It will only be clear, in retrospect, that a pluralist soul and a hard accountable state make for an excellent combination. Swami Vivekananda had hinted at this in the 1890s. The seers could visualise, when all seemed lost, that India will rise again brilliantly. Yet many of us cannot see what is right in front of our very noses.
If I had to choose just one lesson from the Mahabharata that I will never forget, it is this: we are never meant to fight the battle of life alone.
Look at that image of Krishna and Arjuna on the chariot. Arjuna was one of the greatest warriors of his age — skilled, trained, and righteous. Yet on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, when his mind collapsed under the weight of emotion, attachment and confusion, even he needed a guide. The Supreme Lord Himself sat beside him, not as a distant God, but as a friend, a charioteer, and a teacher.
Life will place us on our own Kurukshetra — moments when dharma is not clear, when the mind is torn, when the right path feels impossible. In those moments the Mahabharata whispers: Do what you can, and Krishna will do what you cannot. Arjuna did his part — he picked up the bow again. Krishna took care of the rest.
The Gita is not merely a book of philosophy; it is Krishna’s standing invitation: “Place Me in the driver’s seat of your life.” When we accept that invitation, the same Lord who spoke on the battlefield speaks in the heart.
That one lesson — that Krishna is always willing to be our charioteer — is enough to carry us through every battle.
We dragged ourselves through COVID, one of the ugliest global disasters in a generation.
India kept the world supplied while others folded. Then Ukraine blew up. Then the Middle East caught fire. The shitstorm still isn’t over.
Every other major economy got its ass kicked by inflation, war, wrecked trade and collapsing growth. India under Modi and the economy under Nirmala Sitharaman still delivered.
Scream “dead economy” all you want. Mock them. Attack them. Do your worst.
That’s still a mountain of brutal, thankless work - and a result that slaps the critics across the face.
Thank you @narendramodi and @nsitharaman .
Namaskaram,
With a very heavy heart, we share the below update for all the well wishers of the Kailash Sojourn's group, which was at the Gyirong Port at the time of the devastating calamity.
As we continue to monitor the situation, Sadhguru and the whole Isha community stand in solidarity with the families of the 80 participants and all others affected in this unimaginably difficult time.

Our founder who created the Jhooth ki goonj website has been continuously threatened by Rahul Gandhi’s PR team.
She is just 20 years old. Let this tweet spread and tell everyone what kind of person Rahul Gandhi is.
On August 15, 2026, exactly 92 remote villages in Chhattisgarh's Bastar region hoisted the Indian national flag for the first time since 1947.
Just months earlier, on March 30, 2026, the Home Minister declared India Naxal-free.
But insurgencies don't just run out of bullets; they die when the State alters its posture.
We quantified 22 years of political will vs. kinetic outcomes.
