WATCH | I recently visited an area where a housing scheme called Nodville Housing Co-operative is operating, and I am concerned that many people could lose their hard-earned money.

I believe the people behind this scheme may be land barons taking advantage of those desperate for housing by selling land that they do not legally own.

The land being sold is located between Belvedere West and Heroes Acre in Harare. This is the same area where houses were previously demolished because they had been built illegally.

It now appears that people are once again constructing houses in the area, seemingly without approval or compliance from the City of Harare. If this is the case, many homebuyers could be at risk of losing both their money and their homes.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.

I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
