🚨🗣️ | Pep Guardiola Shocked on Arsenal fans Reaction towards Gabriel Magalhaes after missing the Penalty: 🤯
“I have to say something because I saw this and, honestly, it blew my mind. It blew my mind. We know how this business works. Usually, in a Champions League final, a player misses a crucial penalty against a top, top team like PSG, and the next day... it is a disaster for him. The social media, the media, it can be very, very cruel. Very ugly. You expect the anger, the threats, the terrible words. We see it all the time.
But what the Arsenal fans did for Gabriel? Wow. It is something else. Truly. To see a player fail in the most painful moment, and the response from the stadium, from the people, is just... pure love? I am told his shirt sales went up by three hundred and fifty percent in a few days. Three hundred and fifty percent! This is incredible. I have been in football a long, long time, as a player and a manager, and I have never seen anything like it. Never.
You know, you open Facebook, you open Instagram or Twitter, and the narrative is always the same. 'Arsenal fans are insufferable. They are the worst fanbase, they are annoying.' You hear this tag all the time. But I look at this gesture and I think, 'How?' How do they have this tag? If a fanbase can wrap their arms around a player like that, in the darkest moment of the club's history a trophy they have been dying to win for decades then everything we are told online is a lie. It is a massive misconception. They have been judged so harshly.
This shows me who they really are. It shows their class, their humanity, and their loyalty. To behave like this? It is not annoying, it is not insufferable. It is beautiful. They deserve incredible praise for this, because this is what football should be about
Most banks intentionally abandon compliance with the mandatory requirements of the Mortgage Act, particularly the statutory notice provisions meant to protect borrowers.
This is concerning because many Ugandans borrow to buy plots, homes, or finance construction, only to lose those very assets through foreclosure. High interest rates, excessive charges, and the undervaluation of properties during mortgage sales often worsen borrowers' financial distress.
Housing finance should help people access adequate housing, not drive them into dispossession and homelessness. Banks must strictly comply with the Mortgage Act and ensure fairness, transparency, and accountability in mortgage enforcement.
A bank. A false valuation. A denied insurance claim.
Now Uganda's Court of Appeal will hear a rare third appeal.
The question: can a third party claim directly under a Professional Indemnity policy?

While cities are designed as public spaces for everyone, women often experience them differently. The result is an invisible "safety tax" paid in time, money, opportunities, and mental energy.
Government has a responsibility to offer habitable social housing to those who cannot afford.
We are in a mixed economy that allows capitalism to thrive side by side with socialism.
The Government choosing to keep a blind eye on the needs of its citizens is vile.
Please @GovUganda@MinofHealthUG@Parliament_Ug@min_waterUg, @KagutaMuseveni@StateHouseUg Come to the rescue of these people.

Inclusive slum upgrading is more than improving housing and infrastructure.
It strengthens resilience by combining community leadership, economic opportunity, social inclusion, and climate action. Resilient cities are built with communities, not for them.

🌍 How nine cities are turning the New Urban Agenda into action. As we reach the critical midpoint of the New Urban Agenda (2016-2036), this groundbreaking report shows what's possible when cities put NUA principles into practice.
Uganda and Africa at large can no longer afford to treat the housing crisis as an inevitable reality. It is time for us to rise up, think differently, and embrace innovative, practical, and people-centred solutions to achieve adequate housing and housing justice. From governments and private actors to communities and citizens, everyone has a role to play. The future of our cities, towns, and villages depends on our collective commitment to ensuring that every person has access to safe, secure, affordable, and habitable housing. Housing justice is not a privilege but a necessity for sustainable development and human dignity across Africa.

Legislative reforms should never be driven by urgency alone. Rushing to enact laws and policies without undertaking thorough feasibility studies, capacity assessments, and resource planning often shifts problems from one institution to another rather than solving them.
If court caseloads are being transferred, the corresponding human, financial, and infrastructural capacity must also move with them. Effective implementation requires evidence-based planning, not assumptions. Sustainable reforms are those that are backed by adequate preparation, resources, and institutional readiness.
