Still it goes without saying that black women are generally underappreciated for the work they put in to holding up the community. The solution for me is to start loving ourselves and stop letting things divide us . That's my 2 cents🤷🏾♂️

“Do whatever you want” is a very foolish shortsighted advice only designed to ruin your life.
There are certain places in Nigeria where I'd have to take off my earrings before entry. Why? Because the world does not revolve around me and it's easier to remove my earrings than to try to fight prejudice from a weak position.
One day, your triggers won't be triggers anymore. They'll just be things. You'll be able to look at them boldly and smile. Your peace will be intact.
