—Kenya Pipeline Company is set to handle Rwanda-bound petroleum imports after Kenya and Rwanda signed three framework agreements opening the Northern Corridor for bulk refined fuel imports under a Government-to-Government arrangement.

—The deal is expected to raise Rwanda’s volumes through Kenya from about 42,000 cubic metres in 2025 to over 500,000 cubic metres annually, with the first cargo expected at the Port of Mombasa between 4–6 September 2026.
