They won elections by focusing purely on everyday issues, like plumbing, garbage collection, paved roads, and local fixes. But behind closed doors, the goal was always something much bigger.

Fast forward 116 years, and the strategy hasn't changed a bit. Today, the Democratic Socialists of America are running the exact same playbook. On the campaign trail, candidates knock on your door promising cheaper groceries, housing, and childcare. But on national television, DSA leadership has published the real plan: abolishing the Senate, defunding the military, and taking over private industry.

The Democratic Party is proudly including these extremists under their "big tent." I'm sorry, but I would NEVER side with someone who wants to completely tear down and rewrite America, no matter what else we agreed on. FRAUD FALLOUT: House Majority Whip Tom Emmer says Minnesota's massive welfare fraud scandal will define the state's Senate race now that Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan has won the Democratic nomination.

Emmer told Fox News Digital that Flanagan — Tim Walz's top deputy — will be "tainted by Tim Walz's disgusting reputation" after fraudsters swindled hundreds of millions in taxpayer funds through state programs on their watch. The scheme, centered on the nonprofit Feeding Our Future, has led to roughly 80 indictments and a 500-month prison sentence for its founder.

"Fraud, incompetence and corruption — that is what the Walz administration has been known for. And she's been front and center in the Walz administration," Emmer said. Flanagan faces Republican Michele Tafoya in the general election.

Along with many others, I was appalled by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s giggling dismissal of “Woke 1” as “crazy.”

In case you’ve forgotten, she herself was one of the most passionate advocates of de-funding the police, tearing down statues of American heroes, establishing racial quotas, dividing the country between oppressors and oppressed, etc.

I quite agree that these policy recommendations and policies were “crazy,” but she has to own up to endorsing them.

More to the point, Woke 1 was not only misguided; it was cruel.

One of the bitterest fruits of Wokeism was the cancel culture that resulted in armies of people losing jobs, reputations, and careers because they didn’t correspond to the reigning orthodoxy.

I happen to know several people whose lives were devastated by Woke crusaders.

But now it’s just “ha-ha, wasn’t that crazy.” No, it was brutal and inhumane.
