Good morning and happy Saturday you lovely people. Now as it’s the weekend I know a lot of you will be doing your weekly shop today. So if you can, try and shop locally and support your local traders and small businesses. Supporting local businesses in the UK is essential because they are literally the backbone of the UK economy. SMEs an independents like market traders account for over 99% of all businesses in the UK and play an extremely important role in local job creation and the local economy. When you shop locally, you’re not just purchasing goods or services, you’re investing in your community's growth, the up keep of your local town and resilience! Local businesses often provide a better shopping experience and personalised service that you won’t never get when you walk round your big superstores, there is no love! Also, money spent at local businesses tends to stay within the community, promoting economic sustainability and supporting local jobs. By supporting SMEs, you’re helping to build a stronger, more vibrant economy that benefits everyone. So when you choose local, you’re choosing to strengthen the people and the community around you! Because if we lose these local shops and businesses, we lose things like the NHS, The roads being loooked after. Because it’s there taxes that pay for it! We all know a town where the high street is dead and there once was a local market. Let’s try if we can to have a walk down them and keep them going. Have a great day. Bosh❤️
