During a co-creation workshop with TradeMark Africa and Trade Catalyst Africa, I thanked them for their continued partnership and financial support to URA.

Their support has helped us make important progress in modernising Customs, including through the Uganda Electronic Single Window and One Stop Border Posts, making trade faster and easier.

As we move into the next phase, I called on TMA and TCA to continue supporting URA’s efforts to introduce smarter technology, stronger border systems and better infrastructure.

I also reaffirmed URA’s commitment to the digital transformation journey. Our goal is simple: to make it easier to do business, facilitate legitimate trade and build a more efficient Customs service for Uganda and the region.
