@svpino Completely agree. Apart from shaping your brain (which makes it easier for you to transition to new fields) there is also one thing that I truly value from my college years and it has nothing to do with books/classes: the social experiences I had with new friends. Priceless.

@svpino This one is hard and interesting. I'd say 2. In my experience, balancing the dataset -oversampling with SMOTE or manually downsampling- didn't help much. Instead, I've had better experience using class weighting. Cool question, would love to hear from your experience.
