@KamBrothers His rebounding alone wins some of the heartbreak losses the lakers had last season, he’s a huge upgrade even if he scores 4 points a game

@KevinOConnorNBA Offensive rebound lost the lakers so many games that they would probably have been 2nd seed if they had someone like Ayton grabbing boards last year. His rebounding and rim protection (top 5 last year according to one of the stat pages) are all the lakers need really.

@KevinOConnorNBA People act like the lakers need ayton to be Shaq. If he can give rebounding (he is a guaranteed 10 rebounds 99% of the time) and a couple of lobs on offense + a block or two per game and alter some shots on defense then he will 100% reach the value of his 1+1 contract
