I think about the Cheers guy now and then. Who is he? Why so smug? What was his life like? I know he could have never imagined his mug would eventually be seen by millions repeatedly on a contraption that beamed images and sounds through the air into people’s homes.
During the first airing of my Star Trek series where a kiss was objectionable; many southern stations pulled the episode & condemned the show. Using today’s vernacular it would absolutely be called“woke DEI crap”because it went against “norms” of society for its time. Not a lot seems to have changed.🤷🏼😑
@bootxparty hahahah it's the lack of headphone jack that is the problem for me; I can live with either type, but would prefer wired. I don't trust wireless because you can lose one, run out of battery, etc etc.
I am here to complain about the removal of the headphone jack from cell phone devices. this choice was a step backward for our species and we will never recover as a whole. thank you & good day.
HBO has understood the power of ‘water cooler’ television on Sunday nights for a quarter century. You only get that from a weekly episodic series. Binging will never replace the unity of everyone experiencing something at the same time.
We celebrate the life of Nichelle Nichols, Star Trek actor, trailblazer, and role model, who symbolized to so many what was possible. She partnered with us to recruit some of the first women and minority astronauts, and inspired generations to reach for the stars.
