The @oncor 765-kV transmission line interactive map is online. See the link. I just happened to be at the clerk’s office when that dropped the public record off.

Under the Big Beautiful Bill, if you make money off gambling, but didn’t make a net income, you could still be taxed. For example, if you spend $1 million on lottery tickets, and win $1 million, the Big Beautiful Bill states you should be taxed on $100,000 income.

As many of you may have known, the courts have gone back and forth on whether the BOI report is required with FinCen, the Supreme Court just stated that is enforceable as it moves through the courts. Therefore, the Department of Treasury may fine you for failure to comply. For their order, see here: https://t.co/NB90uoll2j
This is an important update to my clients. From the beginning it was my belief that it is unconstitutional; however, I recommended complying until it was decided unconstitutional. The temporary injunction will likely be appealed the 5th Circuit. They may reduce it to apply to just the plaintiff. In the meantime, please contact your professional regarding filing the BOI report. It still hasn’t been declared unconstitutional.
From KWM Law:
RE: Mandatory Beneficial Ownership Information Report Filing
Client(s),
There is a mandatory report that is required for your business entity, such as, LLC and/or Corporation. You may file your own report online at https://t.co/4R6vFQlxtu or our office can file this for you upon request. If you would like our office to complete this for you, please provide us with a copy of each owner’s photo ID, such as driver’s license or valid passport. You can email, mail, or bring in person. We will not file this report unless you request us to.
The report MUST be filed by January 1, 2025. The government imposes a fine of $591 penalty per day, up to $250,000, and a criminal penalty of $10,000 and up to two years in prison for failure to comply.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 325-356-1199 or email me at [email protected].
If you live in Texas, I cannot stress enough to get things lined up correctly, whether it’s your estate planning, your business, taxes, or you financial statements.
The IRS does not accept electronic signatures for many forms. It only accepts them for a few documents. Please do not docusign IRS documents unless specifically directed to!
