Please, as someone who is disabled, don’t sit in my replies telling me Keir Starmer wasn’t all that bad when one of the first things he actioned as PM was an attack on disabled people and our benefits. He also perpetuated a campaign of hatred towards the disabled.
One thing I reckon we are overlooking is that if Streeting wins is we’d be getting Nigerian woman vs bitchy gay guy at the dispatch boxes for the next few years. Absolutely a generational Parliament dynamic
Corbyn, at his most hated, in may 2019 lost only 60 councillors in local elections
Establishment papers at the time framed this as "labour and tories both concede losses" (the tories lost 1300 councillors to labour's 60)
Hard to overstate how hated Starmers labour is.
France, Germany and the UK have issued a statement condemning Iran's "disproportionate" response. I want to know what they think is a "proportionate" response when invaders assassinate your head of state and civilian leaders in an explicit campaign to destroy your government.
“lsraelis are fleeing Tel Aviv.” Imagine if all the borders were shut and they were told to go north. No, south. No, north. No, south. By foot. Carrying all their belongings. Carrying their children. While dodging snipers. As 2000lb bunker bombs were dropping. Since 1948.
reality is such nightmare fuel that if you try to talk about current events with someone who is blissfully uninformed it is quite literally impossible not to sound delusional, conspiracy-pilled and wildly schizophrenic.
Keir Starmer has ordered his team to weaponise antisemitism (again) but this time against a party with a Jewish leader (?) who he thinks is an extremist for wanting to rethink our military alliance with a country that wants to annex Greenland
The end of the right to protest. Digital ID cards. Abolition of trial by jury. If you are worried about the authoritarian future, it is already here. The current Starmer government is the most anti-democratic of the modern era. Starmer is basically just a fluffer for Farage.
