Hey @JetBlue, is this really how you treat families traveling with newborns?

Today on Flight B6 2754 from DCA to BOS, we were traveling with a 9-week-old, a 2-year-old, two strollers, and our nanny.

A gate agent ordered our nanny to close the expandable section of her carry-on while she was holding baby bottles and other items for our children. I asked to help her and explained that I needed her beside me to help manage our newborn at the end of the jet bridge.

The agents refused to let me assist her, ordered me to keep moving, called a supervisor, and threatened to remove our family from the flight.

One agent said they were being filmed and would “get in trouble” unless I moved immediately.

How does a mother asking to help the person caring for her 9-week-old baby become grounds for threatening to remove an entire family from a flight?
