Now it will rain RIP, even from those who incarcerated him for years without any clear crime and denied him quick access to treatment when he cried out; plus those that ridiculed him saying he was ‘acting’ as he fought for his life! His poor mother wept at Parliament, pleading for his bread winner son. But life went on - all she was given was money, not justice. Such is what it has become; and many more of us may have to die - as we continue to senselessly turn against each other as humans. How many more should die before we realise that all we are looking for in this short life is happiness, and that we can still be happy without making another suffer or cry! We shall surely wish Hon. Ssegirinya’s soul to rest in peace, but what peace for such a death!

Last week I reported that someone is dumping soil&rocks in a wetland in Kawuku-Ggaba. Well, up to now @nemaug has never done anything about it and so the destruction of the wetland continues.
Meanwhile, in the same place on the other side, another person is doing the same.

In Uganda, the underlying issue is poverty, which diminishes people to a state of political ignorance. The mere necessity to discuss whether Bobi Wine can attract a crowd, despite abundant footage on social media, exposes the regime's desperation in a disinformation campaign through characters like Rwomushana.

More disturbing is the fact that media outlets like NBS host individuals like him as political analysts which underscores the alarming decline in intellectual rigor and quality within our media's political coverage.

Whatever power you have, it is always good to ask oneself: ‘What could happen after power is gone?’ One of the many cases that should teach us humility when in power/privilege is that of Hitler’s renowned propagandist and right hand man, Joseph Goebbels.

Goebbels and his family were with Hitler in a bunker in Berlin up to the hour when, faced with humiliating defeat, Hitler decided to shoot himself. In his will, Hitler had appointed Goebbels Chancellor, but, as defeat was now sure, Chancellorship no longer made sense. Given the atrocities they had committed and the anger the world had towards them, they knew what would happen to them if captured alive.

A day after Hitler’s death, Goebbels decided to poison his six children with cyanide, before him and his wife also taking their lives. Only his eldest child, who had already been captured, survived. He lived on until 1967, when he died in a car accident.
