Today on 12th May 2026 @Umwanakuisonga in collaboration with @unicefrw & OHCHR conducted a workshop of child protection actors on strengthening coordinated implementation of child focused #UPR recommendations.

The visiting team also interacted with children, parents and caregivers at @GakenkeDistrict market-based ECD centre, observing integrated services including play-based learning, nutrition support and responsive caregiving for young children and working families.

Today in @GakenkeDistrict, Ambassadors, District leaders & partners joined @unicefrw to see integrated child protection systems in action — from safeguarding committees and remedial learning to services supporting women and children at risk of violence and abuse.
