This week, Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe joined @careinrwanda and partners in engaging District SACCOs across five districts in @RwandaEast to strengthen women’s access to and use of financial services and strengthen financial linkages between women entrepreneurs, savings groups and financial institutions.
Together, we’re working to break down barriers and improve women’s access to inclusive financial services and products that respond to their needs.

Through the #SERVEProject, Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe has successfully completed training sessions with local leaders across 10 districts of project implementation.
The sessions focused on challenging harmful cultural gender norms and creating a conducive environment and benefit from equal opportunities for predominantly female youth to thrive in agricultural value chains.

Today, the #GEARProject brought together mentors and mentees to mark the successful completion of the LTA (Legitimacy, Transparency and Accountability) Coaching Programme, which began in September 2025.

The journey has strengthened knowledge, built connections and created space for shared learning.

This milestone contributes to the PFTH’s broader goal of strengthening its member organisations to become more legitimate, transparent, and accountable, and better serve their communities.

From 8–16 Sept., Pro-Femmes Twese Hamwe is bringing activists from 10 #SERVEProject districts together to reflect, learn and strengthen conversations with youth farmer groups on gender norms, attitudes and opportunities.
Because real change happens when conversations reach families and communities, and lead to action.
