@Olking07 2- My monthly payment is 2430 plus I’m paying back the loan, so realistically I’m spending 3k/mo on housing. In my area, $350k is about the cheapest you’ll find before it’s condemned. $2k doesn’t stretch as far as it used to and I’m paying off student debt. So anywhoooooooo.

@Olking07 I make $116k net, purchased a 350k home last year with 5% down (that’s all I’ve been able to save in the last ten years, and I took a hardship loan from my 401k to get there) I locked in at 6.49% before the government shut down. 1/1
