@LiberatePunjab @GinoHard_ Think you missed the point – Carlisle cheap shotted him, doubled down, and deserved to be put in his place. Refs agreed hence the double minor.
@TF1332162819932@statmuse Cherry picking some offensive statistics does not translate directly to wins or championships. It’s not hate to recognize the big picture.
@Dieselflavor @CoryWargo_CFB What part of that is clear? lol any objective viewer can see here that the ball is hovering roughly at the guy’s wrists. That’s bc it was already knocked out, watch one of the thousand replay vids and the frames before and after this still.
@phinstantreax@BobbyWilson1004@CFBKings The ball was loose, floating between his wrists and his midsection – how is that a TD when he doesn’t have control of the ball? In reality it should’ve been a 99 yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
@Dieselflavor @CoryWargo_CFB I’m not biased, how is that clear? Maybe this pic will help. At this point in time, the ball is not controlled or in possession. It was already knocked loose and you can see it’s in neither of the quarterback’s hands.
@Dieselflavor @CoryWargo_CFB That’s literally what ‘cross the plane’ or ‘break the plane’ of the end zone means. That’s why they use the word plane. It’s a math term, and if any part of a ball (in possession) hits it then it’s a TD. In this case, the quarterback had already lost possession prior to that.
@Dieselflavor @CoryWargo_CFB I think you’re just restating the same thing everybody else is saying with the ‘crossing the plane’ concept. But in this case the ball was knocked loose before it crossed the plane, that’s why it was ruled a fumble.
@AL_Progressive@JoeChet81 @CoryWargo_CFB I think you’re misunderstanding. The still frame where you think the tip of the ball is crossing the plane – he doesn’t have possession there. It was already knocked out 0.3s before that.
@JoeChet81 @CoryWargo_CFB The ball was out before it crossed the plane. It was just still hovering around him so in that one camera angle it kinda looks like possession, but it’s not.
@nikkilauda9999@tennisdudz22@ChrisVannini With how much playing time he got he better have. Larkin played so much better, wish he’d gotten first or second line minutes.
