First XC race since Living History in 2018. It went better than expected! 18:11; no complaints. My goal was to enjoy the pain and shoot for the stars. Went out hard, died a little, and finished hard. Plus I think the kids got a kick out of watching their coach race. 😂

@CoachGaryB1 I’ve created a point system new this year. It helps to recognize those who work hard but may not be on the Varsity team. It’s also objective and fair — kids and parents can see the totals and see where they are. But again, it’s something new I’m trying so it could tank.🤞🏼

@TrackInKansas Could we add in a separate clause to the rules stating that if a State field does not meet the 16 team limit that the next fastest teams be admitted under provisional circumstances to complete the field? Not barring scratches or DQs. Right now 2 spots are open in G4x8 in 6A.

@CoachWrigley @OSXCFalcons @OSouthTF I 💯 agree. Maybe have those top-4 “Q”s and then, I don’t know, next two fastest “q” times? Or at least make sure there are 16 teams? But something should change so they are fielding the best at the championship level, for sure.
