Kyle Blute

Irreverent Academically Inclined Architect & Artist.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

I took a break from academia. It's been liberating. I've realized 3 rather important things.
1. Just rest. 40 hrs per week. Including travel.
2. Hardliners Grade policy. Utterly useless. Be the teacher they remember not resent.
3. No one checks you credentials outside...

@Teri423 They're in Chester County not chester the city. 50ish mile difference. He's hiding in an extremely densely wooded area not an urban setting.

[Tyler Olson, EA @olsonplanner]

This is not right.

[The Debt Collective 🟥 @StrikeDebt]

We will win.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

@ass_deans There was ever a distinction?

Its a fucked up day in the US.
Find out who your senators and congress people are. If they want it to be about elected officials, then let's make the fuckers work.

@AndrewBarnas I will happily do the graphic esign and charts

@RGibsongirl @SardonicProf Same especially that project over our studio sound system.

[Gergely Neu @neu_rips]

if you want a professor to reply immediately to your email, send it during a department meeting

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

I regret doing this. In hindsight.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

Writing a syllabus that is built to be kind is inherently difficult in academia as it is.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

I also canceled the final. Because it's not worth the suffering.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

@party_mcfly_ Shear bloody force of will & miracles.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

Today I found out. I'm the teacher who is "difficult" because I make them actually do their work and am not "chill" I've never been so proud of myself for asking for their integrity and respecting my own.

[Associate Deans @ass_deans]

Remember that student struggling in your class because they missed too many assignments - the one I’ll change the grade for so they can graduate this spring - will be governor one day after campaigning on the need for personal responsibility.

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

Yes. Still.

[Academic Chatter™ @AcademicChatter]

Is anyone else finding it difficult to focus on any work at all with all that is going on?

[Kyle Blute @KyleBluteArch]

The audacity of 18yo straight white freshmen boys is actually too much right now.
