After watching the tape, I don't think the Falcons defense played THAT bad vs. Carolina.

Certainly not 30-point loss bad. That was mostly bad offense by ATL. The Falcons stopped the run well, pressured Bryce Young, and got beat by a couple of great calls/individual plays.

@Peter_Bukowski Yeah.. probably accounted for some movement for sure. I’m not sure ZBB was ever 100%. The optimist in me would like to think Belton could be a slight upgrade. All my O-line related thoughts are just pure hopes at this point.

@Peter_Bukowski For me that tells you it wasn’t an initial reaction to Penix massively moving the needle.. more so other factors determining the +6.5 to be value. Teams playing a short week after OT against an opponent that didn't play OT are 5-27 against the spread.
