A simple ragamuffin in search of something resembling a life of holiness. Every year collecting more grey hair, a sexier beard, and more good stories to tell.
@pastor_adam It was rough on my son. Where we come from kids start kindergarten at 5, then we moved to a place where kids start at 6 for sports reasons. My sports loving son gets to middle school and is competing with boys almost 2 years older. Which at that age is a huge gap in development
@SharpNetwork I’m not a huge fan of data centers but my main problem is covering up the beautiful green KY farmland and hills with ugly solar farms to run the DCs!
Also AI needs a big win soon. We were promised cure for cancer. All we see is slop and flyers for car shows! 😂
The older I get, the more I believe happiness lives in the ordinary. Pets. Plants. A quiet morning coffee. Blue sky. Cotton clouds. Birds singing. The gentle breeze through the trees. A clean, cosy house. Good food. Good hearted simple poeple. So much of life’s beauty is quiet, gentle, and already here. And somehow, one of the sweetest feelings is knowing I get to wake up and meet it all again tomorrow.
@griffingulledge@jaredcornutt Pellet grills?! What kind of Yankee Doodle Fancy Shmancy contraption are you talking about? In the South you cook with fire! Low and slow!
Have fun with your TikTok generation video game grill. The men will be out back lighting things on fire! 🔥🔥🔥😂😂😂
@fathers_rule@dalehuntington@WillyRice Ok with these replies I’m like 75% sure you’re a bot and not a man. If by some chance you are a person, please find a good church to plug into and maybe some quality therapy. Maybe an older man who can speak into your life.
Sounds like you have an unhealthy obsession with politics
@fathers_rule@dalehuntington@WillyRice It’s a sign of respect between men. Maybe you were raised by women, but men introduce themselves and sign their name to things.
@DrSampler Sometimes I read weird takes like this dude. See he’s a pastor, and think to myself “Maybe Solomon was right referring to wisdom as a female”🙄
@mikeleake Definitely probably some economic bias and also rural versus urban. Here in rural Kentucky,a man in a suit gets the side eye. When I first came to pastor my church here, I wore a coat and tie. I was quickly asked to please stop. They said I’d be more warmly welcomed without a tie
Hegseth: No stupid rules of engagement, no nation building quagmire, no democracy building exercise, no politically correct wars. We fight to win and we don't waste time or lives. As the president warned, an effort of this scope will include casualties. War is hell and always will be.
