A telling error — and one that warrants a correction — appears in a new article by frequent TV news medical commentator @CelineGounder.

She writes: “The FDA’s own staff said in February they needed more time to review the Glas application.”

That is incorrect. On February 17, after the products had completed scientific review by career staff, the Director of CTP’s Office of Science recommended authorizing the Glas device and the flavors you object to.

You’re entitled to believe whatever activist groups say about nicotine. You’re not entitled to your own facts.

That said, teens should not use nicotine, cannabis or alcohol. Of these three, nicotine is the only one that does not intoxicate... and it is FAR safer than alcohol.

I believe that's an unexamined assumption:
1) 'Flavors' are FAR from the top reason the ever-declining number of kids who vape give for why they vape.
2) AVAILABILITY of 'flavored' nicotine vapes skyrocketed over the past 6 years (disposables) ...and teen vaping dropped 74%.
3) Adult vs. teen use is 15-to-1, and most ADULT vapers are using 'flavored' vapes.

Because they care more about the blood money they earn killing Americans than they do about life saving products protecting American citizens from the deadliest products in human history.

A new thought: Trying to convince someone who is wedded to a world-view where all tobacco and nicotine products are equally harmful... is like trying to convince someone to leave an abusive relationship.
