@TomMoyerUT ...I mean they're the ones who "donation" politicians into giving them giant government welfare payments for the DCs and then tell us "it's for the jobs." No ones begging for them to be jobs factories. They're calling out the fucking racket.
My guy. I asked which regulation caused the housing crisis and you responded with parking requirements and fireproofing codes.
The banks deregulated themselves, levered up 40:1, sold $55 trillion in unregulated derivatives on garbage mortgages, collapsed the global economy, foreclosed on 10 million families, and then private equity bought those homes at auction and rents them back to the same people at 40% of their income.
And your answer to that is "setback requirements are too strict."
You're not even in the same conversation.
LOL...we have a housing crisis, which is why we must listen to the data analyst who *checks notes* co-founded a political org with a venture capitalist and rebranded it as a podcast about abundance
we have a housing crisis, which is why we must take housing policy cues from a movement whose largest single donor *checks notes* invested in Opendoor, the algorithmic house-flipping company that buys homes away from families
we have a housing crisis, which is why we must deregulate zoning so that *checks notes* private equity firms and luxury developers can convert affordable neighborhoods into investment vehicles and call it building
we have a housing crisis, which is why we must pretend that *checks notes* the venture capitalists funding your org, the developers lobbying for your policies, and the Wall Street landlords buying the units they build are the same people as the people who build housing
The only path to production mutation should be a gated, auditable, non-bypassable control plane. Could have just as easily been:
"Staging credentials stop working. You grab prod credentials to compare something. Later, a cleanup command picks up those instead of the staging ones."
Nothing tells you the difference. Production dies. The agent did the same thing. Just at machine speed.
@KATUNews why are you dancing around the real story? Here's the headline: "City of Portland Holds Lobbying Circus for Public Money Giveaway"
The council is unqualified to determine how this money is spent. Their incentive is to give it to their donors.
