@welcome2thesci@wolvesguy16@NBAcrazystats@nyknicks It's not if you've followed the team. The entire time this team has been together, when the ball isn't moving, eventually players resort to shooting as soon as they touch it because they know it won't come back to them.
@Patkla1@jaycaspiankang OK but he's 7'5" and takes away everything below the free throw line. If he has the same invisible 6/18 game Shai had on offense, he's still the most valuable player on the floor, and every available metric confirms it.
@DrewThatsWho@manwtfido@WembyCentral@proffessorchees A cylinder foul is for vertical space, which is not impeded here. The shooter's vertical space is clear, he just fades and elbows the perfectly vertical defender in the face. The extension of the shooter's foot does not matter because that's outside his own cylinder.
@NateDuncanNBA That may have been the idea of the hire, but Brown has seemed to do everything possible to *avoid* the kinds of plays KAT made tonight. Idea seems to have been to let Brunson initiate and let him learn how to cycle through the offense, but that simply never happened.
@captainktainer@MalCat191392@trouble_man90 To clarify further, editorial boards are small groups that do not take guidance or input from the staff as a whole. They are notably *not* the positions of the rank and file.
@GeoffRasmussen_ Just look at every comeback during last year's playoff run. Once the Delon-Landry lineup started coming on with KAT to start the second quarters and around the six-minute mark in the third, that's where the team always made up the most ground. KAT's never been the problem here.
Speaking of taxes, the former chief of department is pulling in a $295K a year disability pension, mostly tax free, because of an injury to his foot (unclear if it’s the foot in this photo)

Whistleblowers told The Electronic Intifada that the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) scrapped its annual Impunity Index because Israel was set to rank number one. The index—published annually since 2008 and regularly referenced in UN reports—measures countries where journalists are deliberately killed and killers go unpunished. The 2024 edition, covering killings through 2023, ranked Israel second. The 2025 index, reflecting 2024 amid record killings of Palestinian journalists in Gaza, would have pushed Israel to the top of the list. Since the index is calculated as a 10-year rolling rate relative to population, Israel would Israel would have been ranked near the top, if not number one, for many years to come, the whistleblowers said.
They allege donor and board pressure played a role. In response to Electronic Intifada, CPJ denied that donor considerations play any role in its decisions with respect to Israel or any other country.
@bdetrick You lost this argument 12 years ago, like the Jazz are going to lose it now. And if your complaint is really that the big, scary major markets put a thumb on the scale to end the four-year tank, then Philly can let the Jazz take their gap year in peace and let Twitter handle them
@bdetrick No, they could not bench quality players because they assembled a team 50% below the mandated salary floor in one of the leagues’s largest markets and newest arenas.
