@WalkerJRoss I do think money has something to do with it but another reason for colleges/conferences was probably the moral of player safety and how it would be regulated. Many schools thought it may be harmful to put their players in this situation and that there is too much going on.
@WalkerJRoss#SPM3500 it seems like a good idea that Columbus wants to keep the team because they don’t have a lot of big sports teams, but the timing is very bad. The subsidy was used to try to keep the team in the city. It probably won’t generate much more economic impact especially now.
@WalkerJRoss#SPM3500 the players are obviously going to want a salary cap raise since more money will be coming in. The profits are supposed to be around $500 million so there is not a lot of money going to players. I’m sure the players are going to come together and want more money.
@WalkerJRoss#SPM3500 I believe that Jackie Robinson would be a deserving recipient for this award. He broke the color barrier in baseball and has led the way for many African American baseball players. He has multiple foundations for scholarships for African Americans to pursue college.
@WalkerJRoss#SPM3500 people know that salary caps don’t lead to competitive balance and owners are just trying to get the most valuable players that will help their team win. This coincides with the MRP explanation and will determine players salaries in the end.

1. To make more money and to get into new potential markets.
2. High Expansion fees or no economic support.
3. I think that they should expand, but to do it slowly and efficiently.
