FAMILY DRAMA EXPLODES! Bashir El-Rufai Drags His Own Brother, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, on X
Wahala don burst for El-Rufai family!
Bashir El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai, set the internet on fire early this Saturday after launching a brutal attack on his elder brother, Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, the sitting House of Reps member for Kaduna North.
In the now-viral post, Bashir did not hold back at all:
โI have a useless excuse for a brother, with his bony a$$ face coated with an unknown white substance around his nostrils every night. That is your Member in the House, representing a whole populace. but prefers alc0hol and c0caine. yes, you.โ
The post has already pulled tens of thousands of views, with hundreds of quotes and replies.
And Bashir didnโt stop there. In the replies, he called his brother a โf0ol,โ warned Nigerians to stay out of their family business, and revealed he has blocked him.
As at the time of filing this report, Hon. Mohammed Bello El-Rufai has not responded publicly.
Two sons of the same powerful father, washing their dirty linen in public. This one go loud o!
What do you think? Is this a family matter or should voters be concerned about what Bashir is alleging?

HOW TO APPLY FOR A NIGERIAN DRIVER'S LICENSE ONLINE
You no longer need to spend your whole day at an FRSC office to start your driver's license application. You can begin and complete most of the process from your phone.
It costs:
3-year license: N15,000 FRSC fee
5-year license: N21,000 FRSC fee
Step by step guide:
- Go to nigeriadriverslicence. org on your Chrome browser. You can also request Desktop Site mode on your phone if the page does not load properly.
- Click on DL Application then select New Driver's License.
- Enter your driving school certificate number and fill in your personal details accurately. Your name must match your NIN exactly.
- Select your preferred FRSC Driver's License Centre for biometric capture and book an appointment.
- Make payment through the Remita gateway on the portal. You can pay by card, bank transfer, or USSD. Do not pay anyone outside the portal.
- Print your payment receipt and attend your biometric appointment on the scheduled date with all your original documents.
- A temporary license valid for 60 days will be issued while your permanent license is processed.
What you need before you start:
You must attend an FRSC-accredited driving school first. Without a driving school certificate, your application will be rejected. Driving school fees run from N15,000 to N35,000 depending on the school. You also need your NIN, a valid means of identification, and a passport photograph.
The process is online and self-service. Anyone offering to help you for a fee outside the official portal is taking your money and putting your application at risk.
Note: the realistic all-in cost including driving school, learner's permit, eye test, and VIO test runs from N45,000 to N82,000 if you do it independently.
Above all, love God.
โGen Z has received a lot of insults, with people saying they donโt have sense. I worked at UBA for over three years, and this was a major issue when the policy was introduced. People are blaming the girl who was simply working based on a policy that was implemented, instead of calling out the organisation for introducing a policy they cannot abide by.โ
โ Lady who claims to have worked at UBA for years reacts to the trending video of a lady who addressed billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu as โTony.โ
Can you recognize the officer behind Major General Tunde Idiagbon and Major General Muhammadu Buhari in this 1984 photograph?
Clue: a street in Victoria Island bears his name.
Now You Know.
One young lady like this called me like 2 years ago claiming that one of my contacts is owing them bla bla, I asked pls why are u now calling me and not the defaulter, she started insulting me saying I should warn the person, I tried to advise her not to harass innocent people and face the defaulter, she insulted me again saying she would call me and harass me and there is nothing I can do, I was shocked o, I just ignored her jeje ๐คฃ๐คฃ
In the case of INEC versus Balarabe Musa (2003), the Supreme Court ruled that the Public Rules requiring public servants to be politically neutral and banning them from joining political parties or holding political views violates their Constitutional rights to Freedom of Association and Assembly under Section 40 of the Constitution.
What public servants are required to do is to be *politically neutral in the discharge of their duties..* That means that they should not favour a citizen because they belong to the same political party or discriminate against another because they are of a different political persuasion. But it doesnโt mean that they cannot be politically partisan.
Do you agree with the Supreme Court or do you think that we need to change our Constitution?
Whatever your opinion is, remember that I am Ezemmuo and that I know things.๐
I need someone to tutor me on cancer because I genuinely donโt understand this.
Ogogo was at Ojude Oba on June 1, less than three months ago. He looked healthy, energetic and full of life. Today, he is gone after battling stage 4 cancer. ๐
Can cancer really progress this rapidly, or can someone look completely healthy while already having advanced cancer? How does something this devastating happen in such a short time? ๐๏ธ๐
When Ecobank took over Oceanic Bank, the Oceanic staff discovered that we were calling one another by our first names in Ecobank. Our MD Funke Osibodu was Funke but not Mrs. Osibodu. They were coming from a background that they were calling Mr. Adetunji, Oga Deji, Madam Ibru, Dr. Cleverโฆ. So, they had to adjust. So, if it is Mrs. Cecilia Ibru who is cautioning that lady, I may not have any issue with it. No issue because that is what she encouraged in the institution that she ran in Oceanic Bank. Majority of Nigerians who will be contributing on this discussion online will definitely not know this truth. They will not know because most of them were still in primary school or still crawling in the 1990s when Tony Elumelu and his other โcow boy bankersโ came to the corporate world at their tender ages. Elumelu became MD of Standard Trust Bank, STB in 1997 at age 34. Other guys who floated GT bank and Access Bank were also in their 30s. They could not do the work alone so they had to recruit staff into their Banks. They discovered that the experienced people that they were hiring were in their 40s, and 50s. They found it ridiculous to be calling their staff Mr. Lagbaja and Mr. Tamedu. They had a complex, giving instructions to someone older than them. To conquer the complex, they introduced the idea of calling all staff by their first names. It levelled the ground for everybody. Mr. Daramola Oladeji at 44 is now addressed as Deji, Mrs. Oluwole Olufunmilayo with 3 boys in the university at 48 was being called Funmi at work and she must answer. They were the one who came to destroy the work place ethics in order to satisfy their ego and help them manage their complex.
One good thing about it I must confess is that it makes you freer to relate with your colleagues without any age barrier to the overall benefit of the organization. In Ecobank during the general staff meeting which we call village meeting, you will hear people saying โFunkeโ, I have been raising my hand since and you have not given me chance to talk โฆ that is the MD that that they are addressing. Even at that, if I am to travel with the MD to Abuja on the same flight and I want to ask her which airline to book, i will enter her office and say โFunke admin is asking me which airline should they book for our journey?โ Do you know that on that flight, I will carry her bag, as a mark of respect. If another big Oga is with us on the trip and we reach our destination and he ask โ Deji what are you doing, you are delaying usโ; Do you know I can tell the Oga without any fear, "I am waiting for the conveyor belt to bring Funke's bag, but it has not come" meanwhile, the person i am calling Funke is the owner of the bag I am waiting to collect oooo.
I have gone this far to let you know that even in the midst of name calling, we used to give honor and regard to one another but not openly like they do in some other places. That girl knew which environment she was coming into. She knew people were being called and addressed by their first names. They were tutored along this line in the training school. Those who violated the policy were given penalized
She will do d same in an Access Bank. She will do it in GT and Ecobank and she will not be reprimanded. I had an Oga that came from Afribank of old to join us in Ecobank. When he would address our Group Head, he was always being fined N1,000 in those days. He would say โExcuse me, Sirโ, here is a fine of N1,000. Mr. Lagbaja sir, another N1,000 fine but when he calls our Group Head by his first name, our group head will say โYes, i am listeningโ. The other man was coming from a background where the culture was different from the new place he found himself.
Money has come; age has also come. Tony is seeing that lady as age mate of his own girls of yesteryears who have equally become ladies now. He and his friends who were underaged bankers were the promoters of this culture in the banking industry.
