@RodricJenkin BMI does not distinguish between fat and fat free mass eg muscle and bone. It is well documented that Black people have a higher bone density and often a higher percentage muscle mass. It is not an accurate measure of obesity in all ethnic groups.
@OwenJones84 Thank you for continuing to put your head above the parapet and fighting for what you truly believe in, it is clear that this has a physical and psychological consequence making it even more admirable.
@DrEilidhMaria Possibly. However, this is a government in turmoil. They will be looking for things to project stability, the lurch to the right hasn’t worked so adopting more central ground is the only option. Strikes are doing them no favours, they know this.
@DrEilidhMaria There is a small chance that this is a positive, it allows the government to blame Barclay for failures in negotiations and some one new to step in, make progress/ concessions without it being a u turn. Not holding my breathe tho.
@DocEd I couldn’t agree more. When it came to my year of medicine; I asked about the possibility of me doing micro or radiology and was told writing ttas would be more useful to me in the long term.
@Jamie_BrysonRN I don’t care how much of a bad day someone is having there is no excuse or room for this. They should immediately be kicked out of the ICU. In any other situation the police would be called so how is the hospital any different. You deserve to be treated with respect at work!
@RishiSunak Let me guess…
1. Halving inflation
2. Growing the economy
3. Reducing debt
4. Reducing the waiting lists
5. Stopping the boats?
I’m not sure how, but this must be the right answer.
@NickFerrariLBC@LBC I’m really disappointed that you let Mr Sunak perpetuate the lie that bringing down inflation will put more money in people’s pockets. Reducing your acceleration doesn’t bring down your speed!!!
@JeremyVineOn5 @_NatashaDevon Can’t believe how dismissive he is of @_NatashaDevon absolutely correct definition. Love the lack of ability to define, but quick to say not that. @JeremyVineOn5 new definition is the result of hijacking from the American right which has been capitalised by antiprogressives
@LewyHughey @NadiaKamil Is this charging for portfolios a new thing? A few people have complained about it recently, but this used to be one of the few things drs in training didn’t have to pay for .
@Clink9498@LBC@mattfrei This persons take home pay will probably be around 1.7k a month. What do you think there rent is 800-1k, plus bills, transport, medical insurance, Gmc, cost of dr exams, food, medical course and conference. How much do you think this leaves in London
