1) Make sure you are actually under a Tornado Warning. Warnings are Polygon/geographical based, not county wide. Even the biggest tornadoes are small compared to a whole county. Make sure your wireless alerts are turned on.

AWN is always live during any tornado warning for any county in Alabama, and for other high impact events. With the remnant low from Arthur coming through tomorrow they will be live a good bit of the day.

All of the video products I normally produce daily are being done this week by my colleagues at AWN. With a large staff of meteorologists and resources second to none, that is the source you want during active weather in Alabama.
