Wild: Texas HC Steve Sarkisian says that he signed Arch Manning "for free" and that he could've easily asked for "6-7 million" dollars.
“Arch could have dragged us over the coals for six million, seven million, whatever he wanted. That’s an extra five million that I can go get a Cam Coleman, go get a Hollywood Smothers and go get a Rasheem Biles.”
Arch is making around $2M from the Longhorns.

The Dante Moore decision to stay in Eugene for a year is crazy to me. If everything plays out the 2027 draft class already has
- Darian Mensah
- Sam Leavitt
- Arch Manning
- LaNorris Sellers
- Brendan Sorsby
Moore would've been an easy top 5 pick in 2026, and is losing $
@BradLoganCOTE @cadesmith_3 Tell the full story. Not discrediting Chambliss but if you're gonna make a story like this, also include the fact he has 16 more attempts than Mendoza. Games mean nothing when Chambliss threw 333 attempts and Mendoza threw 317.
@beva5678 Wrong, it's top 5 ranked conference champs hypothetically. JMU is #25 and won their conference. So technically they should get in but committee might as well put in Texas am I right??
“So you’re telling me you drafted Baker Mayfield #1 overall?”
Yes.
“And you traded him to sign DeShaun Watson for $230M guaranteed?”
Yes.
“But now you are starting Dillon Gabriel over Shedeur Sanders?”
That’s correct.
Saw a couple arguing in Publix, voices raised, tension thick.
I stepped between them and said,
“guys, please… Quinn Ewers plays for the Dolphins today.”
Entire Publix erupted in cheers, women crying, children yelling in joy, the Ewers effect is palpable in South Florida
@Tharronn They didn't touch it last year and lost the Cup. Crosby did the same thing in 2008, didn't touch the ECF trophy, lost and then touched it in 2009 and won. Hockey is all about superstition.
@mr_blonder Same thing happened with Gretzky, lost his first appearance in 1983 against the Islanders and turned around to beat the Islanders for his first cup win in 1984...
